Rainbow Valley Veterinary Clinic
is a full-service clinic offering preventive medical treatment and consultation, routine check-ups, surgical procedures and laboratory analysis.

Dr. David M Drake D.V.M. is a graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Drake has more than 20 years of experience in small animal health care. Dr. Drake and his wife, Krista, have three children, Todd, Ty & Taylor. The Drakes also have a Vizsla dog named "Rez".


 

Michelle Rypma D.V.M. - Michelle is a Veterinarian at Rainbow Valley Veterinarian. She graduated from Kansas State Veterinary School in 1996 and has been practicing in the Wichita area since then. Michelle started at Rainbow Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2004. Michelle lives in Wichita with her 4 cats “Caleb”, “Basil”, “Reese”, and her newest addition, a Sphinx “Bonsai”. She enjoys traveling abroad, attending church, and scuba diving.


 

Lisa Eddy - Lisa works as a Registered Veterinary Technician at Rainbow Valley. Lisa and her husband of 3 ½ years live in Derby. They have two dogs named Rusty and Roxie. Lisa earned a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, majoring in Animal Science / Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Lisa earned her Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology at Colby Community College. Lisa also enjoys camping, hiking, and traveling.


Cindy Taylor - Cindy started working at Rainbow Valley Veterinary Clinic in October of 2006. She works as a receptionist and assistant. Cindy and her husband Jason live in Derby with their two children Gage and Dakota. They also have a Bichon Frise named “Morgan” and a Guinea Pig named “Penny”. Cindy enjoys meeting all of the people and their pets. She also enjoys learning about all of the different types of animals and health procedures to keep them healthy.


 

Jan Burrows - Jan and her husband Jack have lived in Derby since 1984. Jan has worked for the clinic since 1995 as a receptionist/assistant. She has a Rhodesian Ridgeback named “Kane”. She enjoys being able to offer clients the information and reassurances they need for their pets. Jan enjoys taking long walks with her dog, making collages and scrap booking.


 

Dena Owen – Dena has been with Rainbow Valley Veterinary Clinic since May of 2002 as a receptionist/assistant. Dena and her husband Randy live in Wichita with their dogs “Shirley”, a Bichon Frise, and “Edgar”, a Norwich Terrier. They also have a Yellow Naped Amazon named “Maria”. Dena enjoys music and renting movies, and going to classic car shows with Randy.



Heidi Lindenmuth
- Your pet will be the best groomed in town with Heidi Lindenmuth. Heidi has been a groomer since 1993 and has been at Rainbow Valley Veterinary Clinic since 1995. She has personally groomed her own show dogs for 15 years. Actually Heidi has had a pair of clippers in her hands since age of seven. When it comes to pet grooming Heidi does all the work and will be the only one to touch your beloved pet. Heidi lives in Wichita. She has two Great Pyrenees “Asia” and “India”, and “Ivy” a Silky Terrier. Heidi also has two Sphinx cats named “Norbert” and “Kahli”. She enjoys going to the gym, listening to music, and showing her dogs competitively.

Todd Drake - Todd is a student at Derby High School and will graduate in 2008. He is the oldest son of Dr. Drake. Todd works in the kennel area at Rainbow Valley. He is a cross country and track star at DHS. Todd says the DHS Cross Country Team is loaded with talent and he expects big things for the future of Derby Cross Country. Stay tuned!


 

Caty Compton - Caty is a student at Derby High School and will graduate in 2009. She is involved in STUCO, DECA, cross country and track at DHS. Caty works in the kennel area and loves all the pets she cares for.
